About Monk Industries
Monk Industries is a family-owned and operated business located in Greeneville, Tennessee. Formerly MTD, it originated in 1981 and manufactured a variety of products for both commercial and military customers. Tent stake production for the US military began in 1993 and continues in the same location to this day.
“Monk” stakes are manufactured by skilled workers with decades of service who have been involved in making tent stakes for many years. Their knowledge and commitment to quality has allowed Monk Industries to expand our product line to include tarp and hook style stakes in addition to our forged head military style stakes.
Grateful to Our Veterans
Both Brook’s and Liz’s fathers served in the US Army. Brook’s grandfather, who also served in the US Army, was a veteran of WWII. We believe in supporting our military along with local and American businesses to promote economic development and provide a quality product that is durable. We’re proud to support the US Military and their field operations with Monk stakes.
